Jack Garner, K5VZZ, showed the club members how he was able to install a full HAM radio station in his home in only 24 inches width and 28 inches depth of floor space. The cabinet he built has storage for his books and manuals, and shelves for his SWR/Power Meter, 2 meter/70cm radio, and desk surface space for his Yaesu FT450D radio, and keyer. Jack built his cabinet for strength with plywood and dimensional wood braces.

His headset and microphones hang on the inside left wall of the cabinet. There is a pull out shelf for writing material. Notice the recessed shelf in the knee area for his power supply.

The necessary connections to his antennas and a ground rod are through a metal wrapped board in the bottom window channel behind his HAM station..
