Derek Pausewang called the meeting to order at 7 PM. After the pledges to the United States and Texas flags, Ronnie Head offered a prayer.

Rose Head read the minutes prepared by Richard Stone. Walt Kovar moved that the report be accepted. Web Mays seconded the motion. The report was accepted as read.

Henry McKinney gave the treasurer’s report. The balance is $810.49. Richard Stone moved, Web Mays seconded that the report be accepted. The motion passed.

In new business, Walt Kovar reported that the Boy Scout Jamboree on the Air will be October 19^th and 20^th. Saturday between 5 and 7 PM, scoutmaster Brandon Bartek wants our support to get scouts on the air. Rondel Stevens moved that we support Walt and the Jamboree on the Air. Richard Stone seconded. The motion passed.

In old business, we discussed giving new licensees free membership in MCARC for the rest of the first year. Ronnie Head moved that we do so, Richard Stone seconded. The motion passed.

The meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM.
