President Jack Garner called the meeting to order at 7:00 with pledges to the American and Texas flags. Ronnie Head offered the prayer.

Several HAMs have received new vanity call signs since our last meeting. Paula Hawkins is now K5PLZ, Tom Hawkins is K5PIC, Wendy Pausewang is W5WEN, and Logan Pausewang is KG5PNQ.

Rose Head read the September minutes prepared by Walt Kovar. They were approved as read.

Henry McKinney gave the treasurer’s report. The last reported balance was $951.63. The electric bill for the repeater was $17.60 in September and $18.25 in October. The ending balance is $915.78. The report was approved as read.

Old Business: None was reported.

New Business:

Rose proposed that our next meeting be held on the third Thursday of November. It passed. Rose was appointed to reserve Peabody’s for December 15^th for our Christmas dinner.

President Jack Garner presented a program entitled "Batteries for Ham’s Solar Panels." It was a follow-up to last month’s program about preparing for grid failure. Rose will append the program to the previous one on our web site.
