President Jack Garner called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM and members recited pledges to USA and Texas flags.

Jack gave prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prior month's minutes were read by Walt Kovar for Rose Head. Web Mays approved and Rondel Stevens seconded the minutes.

Henry McKinney presented treasurer's report stating current balance is $1096.53 after payment of electricity bill.

Henry mentioned the passing of Macalee Hime; Walt said he had put a note in the obituary memories for the club. Web talked about a past memory where he and Jim Musgrove helped Macalee get her ham license. Henry then mentioned she could exceed 50 wpm and would send code using knee key.

Jack Garner then presented a snapshot of upcoming Field Day to establish more detail of how club would setup and operate antennas, radios, dinner, etc and we agreed to be 2A plus GOTA (which would not be for credit but rather just a way to get visitors on the air--Walt to operate GOTA).

Web then stated the club callsign K5TRO had expired, made decision to use Jack's call sign for FD and N5QBU for the GOTA.

Walt proposed the club furnish cost of take-out food for Saturday evening. Voted and approved. Families involved would furnish desserts.

Equipment and antenna details were hashed over and initial setup planned for Friday afternoon around 5:00 PM.

Meeting adjourned at 8:00.
